Police assaulted MB candidate in Al-Haram, four supporters abducted

In an unprecedented escalation, a security force belonging to the police station of El-Omranya, assaulted on Wednesday evening, Mr. Khaled Al-Azhari Muslim Brotherhood candidate in (Al-Haram and El-Omranya) constiuency in Giza, severely beat, and tried to kidnap and run over him by car, while they hijacked 4 of the supporters of the candidate during his visit to the people of the area.

Violent clashes almost occurred between the security men, wearing civilian clothes, and people of the area who heroically defended Al Azhari; which frightened the security force, and its members escaped after the abduction of 4 of the supporters of the candidate.

الأمن يعتدي على مرشح الإخوان بالهرم.. ويختطف 4 من أنصاره

في تصعيد غير مسبوق، اعتدت قوة أمنية تابعة لقسم شرطة العمرانية، مساء اليوم، على خالد الأزهري مرشح الإخوان المسلمين في دائرة الهرم والعمرانية بالجيزة، بالضرب المبرح، ومحاولة اختطافه ودهسه بالسيارة، فيما اختطفت 4 من أنصار المرشح أثناء زيارته لأهالي المنطقة.

وكادت اشتباكات عنيفة تقع بين رجال الأمن، الذين يلبسون الزي المدني، والأهالي الذين استبسلوا في الدفاع عن الأزهري؛ الأمر الذي أرعب القوة الأمنية، وفر أفرادها هاربين بعد اختطاف 4 من أنصار المرشح.
