State Security forces engaged in mass arrests of Muslim Brotherhood representatives in Beni Suef demonstrating continued repression.
Officials were given access to the representatives detailed information and began a frenzied campaign arresting large numbers ahead of the polls.
Mohamed Abdullah Tolba Deputy Director of MP Dr. Hamdy Zahran’s office was among those arrested.

Live ammunition used again against MB candidates supporters in Alex
Bullets' Casings
Police forces in Alexandria attacked supporters of MPs Sobhy Saleh and Mohammedy Sayed Ahmed (MPs and MB candidates in El-Raml constituency, Alex), and fired live ammunition while they were putting-up posters of the two MPs.Eye witnesses said that some informers led by police officer of El-Raml police station attacked Saleh and Ahmed supporters whle they were putting-up posters in El-She'sha'ei St. from Gameela bu-hreed St.
They added that informers used batons, machetes, and swords to attack MB activists, then they abducted them.
MB attorney said that 14 of MB activists in El-Raml were abducted.

Thugs supporting NDP candidate in Minia Constituency attempted to murder Dr. Mohamed Saad Katatni, head of the parliamentary bloc of the Muslim Brotherhood, and MB candidate in Minia, during an election rally in the October 6th Street, in Minia at 10pm on Monday.
Dr. Katatni - During the march - was attacked and his supporters by a group of thugs supporting NDP candidate opposing him in Bandar al-Minya, a former police Gen. Shadi Abou El Ela, tugs used knifes, swords and machetes.
Thugs attacked Dr. Katatni while he was in his car, tried to kill him using a machete, he managed to avoid it, but they could smash the car's windshield, Dr. Katatni's driver was seriously injured.
Thugs, who were drugged, attacked Dr. Katatni's supporters, beat them, and dozens were seriously injured.
Dr. Katatni contacted police, they came accompanied by ambulances, but failed to capture any of these thugs due to the late arrival at the scene.
Some of the injured are, Taher Abou Zeid (employee), Dr. Baha Kenawy (Professor at the Faculty of Science), Abdel-Mohsen Abdul-Majid Ahmed Al Banna (businessman), and Abdullah Sami (doctor).
The thugs who carried out the murder attempt are: Abdullah Abu El-Ela, and Adel Aboul Ela, Mohamed Ayman Abu El Ela, who are relatives of the NDP candidate, former General Shadi Abou El Ela, in addition to Saad who owns a cafe in Kafr El-Mansoura in Minia, and Salama Zaghloul Abu-Elgoud.

بلطجية مرشح الوطني يحاولون قتل الكتاتني ويحطِّمون سيارته!!
حاول بلطجية تابعون لمرشح الحزب الوطني بدائرة بندر المنيا قتْل الدكتور محمد سعد الكتاتني، رئيس الكتلة البرلمانية للإخوان المسلمين، خلال مسيرة انتخابية بالسيارات في شارع 6 أكتوبر بمدينة المنيا، الساعة العاشرة مساء اليوم.
حيث فوجئ د. الكتاتني- خلال المسيرة- بمجموعة من البلطجية وأرباب السوابق وأنصار مرشح الحزب الوطني المنافس له في دائرة بندر المنيا، اللواء شرطة سابق شادي أبو العلا، يقطعون المسيرة ويهاجمونها بالسنج والسيوف والسواطير.
وقام أحد البلطجية بالهجوم على د. الكتاتني في السيارة التي يستقلُّها، وحاول ضربه على رأسه بساطور لولا أنه تفاداه وتحوَّلت الضربة إلى زجاج السيارة فهشَّمته؛ ما أدَّى إلى إصابة سائقه بجروح خطيرة في يده.
كما قام البلطجية- الذين كان واضحًا أنهم متعاطون موادَّ مخدِّرة- بمهاجمة أنصار الكتاتني، وقاموا بضربهم وإصابة العشرات منهم إصابات بالغة.
كما قاموا بتهشيم العديد من السيارات، سواء التي كانت مشاركةً في المسيرة أو التي كانت تقف على جنبات الشارع، كما قاموا بتمزيق إطارات السيارات بالسنج والسيوف لشلِّ حركة الكتاتني وأنصاره.
وقد قام الكتاتني بالاتصال بالأجهزة الأمنية التي جاءت مصحوبةً بسيارات الإسعاف، ولكنها فشلت في القبض على أيٍّ من هؤلاء البلطجية لتأخر وصولها إلى مكان الحادث.
وقد حصلنا على أسماء عدد من المصابين، ومنهم: طاهر أبو زيد (موظف)، ود. بهاء قناوي (الأستاذ في كلية العلوم)، وعبد المحسن عبد المجيد أحمد البنا (رجل أعمال)، وعبد الله سامي (طبيب).
أما البلطجية الذين قاموا بمحاولة الاغتيال، والذين تمَّ تحرير محضر رسمي بأسمائهم، وصدرت لهم مذكرة ضبط وإحضار، فأبرزهم: عبد الله أبو جليلة، وعادل أبو العلا، ومحمد أيمن أبو العلا، وهم من أقارب مرشح الوطني اللواء شادي أبو العلا، إضافةً إلى سيد سعد صاحب مقهى سعد بكفر المنصورة ببندر المنيا، وسلامة زغلول أبو الجود.

2 supporters of MB candidate in Hadayek El-qobba abducted
Police abducted 2 supporters of Mr. Amr Zaki (MB candidate in Hadayek El-qobba constituency), on Sunday evening, while they were distributing electoral pamphlets.
The kidnapped are, Gehad Badawy, and Hesham Kamal, who is in a poor health status, as he had a surgical operation recently to remove a part of his lung, and suffers from chronic stress and severe joints stiffness.

اختطاف 2 من أنصار زكي أثناء توزيع دعايته الانتخابية!
اختطفت الأجهزة الأمنية في وقت متأخر من مساء أمس اثنين من أنصار المهندس عمرو زكي، مرشح جماعة الإخوان المسلمين على مقعد "الفئات" بدائرة حدائق القبة، أثناء توزيع الدعاية الإنتخابية الخاصة بالمرشح أمام مسجد الشيخ غراب بالحدائق.
والمختطفان هما : م. جهاد بدوي، وهشام كمال الذي يعاني من حالة صحية متدهورة حيث أجرى عملية من قريب تم إزالة جزء من الرئه فيها ويعاني حالة من الإجهاد المزمن وخشونه شديدة في المفاصل.

Police assault MB candidates' march using batons in Nasr City
Police forces beat, thousands of supporters of MP Essam Mokhtar member of the parliamentary bloc of Muslim Brotherhood, the People's Assembly (Nasr City and Heliopolis Constituency), and Dr. Manal Abu Hassan group candidate in the same constituency, during a campaign tour of the candidates Street Taha Al-Dinaryin 7th district in Nasr city!!
The march began peacefully as supporters of MB candidates in Nasr City, were chanting slogans of support and love for MB candidates, amid calls from people for support, success and victory, before facing the security forces that used various weapons in its aggression against the people, starting from batons, belts, through branches of the trees, and bladed weapons!!
11 people were abducted by security forces including a child in prep school and one injured are: Tarek El-Shahat, Mahmoud Ehab Amr Ehab "3 Prep," Ahmed Abdel-Fattah, Mohamed Salah El-Din, and Yasser Salah al-Din, Mohammed AbdulMawgood, Hossam El Din Abd al-Karim, Mustafa Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, and another supporter who was seriously injured in the head!!
Police used in their attacks dozens of thugs, and ex-offenders, and criminals, who have been released from prison specifically for the attack on the Brotherhood supporters tours in different places!!
Police forces detained one of the ladies who was participating in the march until her son came and was arrested instead of her. Police also beat children and scared them.
Police cordoned each group of supporters, beat them using different types of weapons, with curses and insults

اعتدت قوات الأمن بالضرب، على الآلاف من أنصار النائب عصام مختار عضو الكتلة البرلمانية للإخوان المسلمين بمجلس الشعب عن دائرة مدينة نصر ومصر الجديدة على مقعد "العمال"، والدكتورة منال أبو الحسن مرشحة الجماعة على مقعد "الفئات" في نفس الدائرة، خلال جولة انتخابية للمرشحان بشارع طهه الديناري بالقرب عند مسجد الأنصار بالحي السابع بمدينة نصر!!
وبدأت المسيرة السلمية لأنصار مرشحي الإخوان بمدينة نصر، من أمام الشهر العقاري، مرددين هتافات التأييد والحب لمرشحيّ الإخوان، وسط دعوات الأهالي للمرشحين بالتوفيق والفوز الساحق، قبل أن تواجهها قوات الأمن التي استخدمت مختلف الأسلحة في اعتدائها على الأهالي، بدءاً من الشوم، والأحزمة، ومروراً بفروع الشجر، والسنون المدببة، إلى درجة استخدام الأسلحة البيضاء!!

Statement of a tortured activist in Shebin El-Kom, Menoufia
Statement of student activist Abdul Rahman Arab about the violations against him since his abduction on 15 - 11-2010, 12:30 pm.
My name is Abdul Rahman Mohammed Hassan Arab, a student in the Faculty of Engineering, I am 20 years old and I live in the city of Shebin El-Kom.
We started to put-up posters for the independent candidate in Bandar Shebin Mr. Badr Al Falah, starting at 12 pm in Mahmoud Shaheen St.
My friend Amr Alnaderi and I were attacked by a police vehicle and a group of informants about 5, and two officers, Mohamed Abdel-Samad, Nasr Al-Qarih attacked the father of my friend, Abdel Muti Alnaderi and beat him, we were also beaten using batons and belts and threw us in the police vehicle and before reaching the police station, they stopped the car and officer Mohammed Abdul Samad asked us to give him our mobile phones then we went to the station.
Upon arrival to the station, we were attacked, immediately after getting out of the car using batons, belts, punched and kicked.
Uncle Abdul Muti was separated from us, he was taken to a room upstairs ((they called it officers room)), we were put in custody and assaulted by officer Mohamed Abdel-Samad and some informants and beaten with belts, batons, punched, kicked, slapped and verbally abused.
Amr Alnaderi particularly, was heavily and brutally attacked, where they were forcing him to sleep on his stomach, officer and informants kicked him.
The officer ordered the informants to handcuff me with four others, namely:
1 - Abdullah Saud
2 - Ashour Swayed
3 - Abdullah Yassin
4 - Ahmed Subhi al-Bayoumi
Amr was also handcuffed, in both hands and feet, he was forced to sleep inside the toilet in the situation ((lying on stomach)) and they continued to assault him.
We were searched in a humiliating manner, I was forced after being beaten to take off my trousers with curses and insults all the time.
Nearly an hour after our entry into the cell, we saw two informants dragging Mr. Abdul Muti Alnaderi on the ground, he was unconscious, we asked for a doctor, but they did not respond.
We waited in the cell without ventilation, we were handcuffed, and Amr was on the ground and his father unconscious for more than 11 hours and we were fasting.
And we had to use the bathroom together, where we were tied up together.
After knocking on the door for a while to demand a doctor, and removing handcuffs, they did not respond to us, and we heard a voice from abroad, says orders to come.
They did not loosen handcuffs, but the next morning about one o'clock and then brought us some food.
When we were out of the police station and about to take back our stuff, officer Muhammad Abdul Samad did give us back our mobile phones.

بدأنا في تعليق الدعاية الانتخابية الخاصة بابن منطقتنا المرشح المستقل على مقعد الفئات عن بندر شبين الكوم المهندس بدر الفلاح ابتداء من الساعة 12 ظهرا في بداية شارع محمود شاهين .
كان معي صديقي عمرو النادري وفوجئنا ببوكس ومجموعة من المخبرين حوالي 5 والضابطين محمد عبد الصمد ونصر القارح يعتدون على والد زميلي المهندس عبد المعطي النادري بالضرب ثم اعتدوا علينا ايضا بالضرب باستخدام شوم واحزمة والقوا بنا في البوكس وقبل الوصول الى القسم اوقفوا السيارة وطلب منا الضابط محمد عبد الصمد اعطائه الموبيلات فاعطيته موبايلي ثم ذهبنا للقسم.
وعند الوصول للقسم تم الإعتداء علينا فور النزول من السيارة بالشوم والاحزمة ووالبوكسات والركلات وتم فصل عمو عبد المعطي واصطحابه الى غرفة بالاعلى ((اطلق عليها المخبرون غرفة الضباط)) وتم وضعنا في الحجز والاعتداء علينا من قبل الضابط محمد عبد الصمد وبعض المخبرين بالضرب بالاحزمة والشلاليت والبوكسات والاقلام والالفاظ النابية .
وتم الاعتداء على عمرو النادري بشكل خاص حيث تم ارغامه على النوم على بطنه وضربه المخبرين بالارجل ثم امر الضابط المخبر باحضار الكلابشات وتم ربطي بالكلابشات مع اربعة اخرين وهم :
1- عبد الله سعود
2- عاشور سويد
3- عبد الله ياسين
4- احمد صبحي بيومي
وتم ايضا وضع الكلابش في يد عمرو في الوضع للخلف ووضع كلابش في قدمه وارغامه على النوم داخل دورة المياه في الوضع ((راقدا على بطنه)) والاستمرار في الاعتداء عليه .
وتم تفتيشنا بطريقة مهينة جدا حيث ارغمت تحت وطأ الضرب على خلع بنطلوني مع السباب والشتائم المتواصلة .
وبعد دخولنا الزنزانة بما يقرب من ساعة فوجئنا باثنين من المخبرين يجرون المهندس عبد المعطي النادري على الارض وهو مغمى عليه وهو في حالة فقدان وعي وطالبنا بطبيب ولكنهم لم يستجيبوا .
وانتظرنا في الزنزانة بدون تهوية ونحن مربوطين في السلاسل وعمرو مقيد على الارض ووالده مغمى عليه لمدة تزيد عن 11 ساعة ونحن صيام.
وكنا نضطر لاستخدام الحمام سويا حيث كنا مقيدين مع بعض.
وبعد فترة من الطرق على الباب للمطالبة بطبيب وفك الكلابشات والاتصال بمحامي لم يستجب احد وسمعنا صوت من الخارج يقول لما تيجي اوامر ..
ولم تفك الكلابشات الا في صباح اليوم التالي الساعة الواحدة تقريبا وبعدها دخل طعام
وعند خروجنا من القسم واستلامنا الامانات فوجئنا بان ضابط المباحث محمد عبد الصمد لم يدرج الموبيلات في الامانات .

300 MB Arrests amid Rubber Bullets and Tear Gas
Security forces used 12 security vehicles, two fire trucks and a deportation vehicle. Traps were set and there were clusters at street corners to arrest supporters of the MP. Government forces also surrounded the house of MP, Mahmoud Attia.
In al-Raml district, security forces used rubber bullets and tear gas against supporters of MB MPs, Sobhi Saleh and al-Mohammady el-Sayed Ahmed. They also attempted to assault MP Sobhi Saleh while a large number of his supporters were injured after thugs attacked them using swords and penknives. MB lawyers confirmed that close to 300 people have been arrested.
MP Saleh stressed that residents clashed with security forces after the latter smashed and destroyed stores belonging to citizens. Clashes continued even after the march had ended.
In Mina el-Basal constituency, security forces pursued the campaigns and marches belonging to MB candidates, Dr Hamdy Hassan and Hussein Ibrahim. They followed the march for three streets then attacked it from behind using tear gas and rubber bullets causing severe injuries among a large number of participants, residents and bystanders. Security forces also arrested a large number of the MP’s supporters including Ibrahim el-Sayed, from the MB executive bureau in Alexandria city.
In el-Dekhela, security forces arrested a number of supporters of Bushra el-Samny, MB candidate who is running for the women quota in Alexandria. Among those arrested is someone who was attending a wedding.
El-Dekhela police officers denied the entrance of lawyers and the families of detainees who were enquiring about them.

Police assaults Mr. Amr Zaki and abducts 7 supporters in Hadayek El-Qobba, Cairo
In a scene that reveals the extent of barbarism and brutality reached by the state security police, in Hadayek El-Qobba , police forces this afternoon assaulted Mr. Amr Zaki (MB candidate in Hadayek El-Qobba constituency), during a peaceful march for the candidate at El-Tera’a st.
While walking and receiving welcome and hospitality from the people of the area, an officer of the State Security Police said ‘it is forbidden to walk in the street’, and in minutes, the attack occurred from more than 5 police vehicles, police cars came from all directions in an attempt to tighten control of the candidate and his supporters, beat them, and dragged them in the street.
Police forces abducted 7 of his supporters after beating them up and dragging them in the street and in front of people of the area.
The kidnapped were: Ahmed Yusuf (lawyer), Mohamed Azab (lawyer), Ayman Ramadan (lawyer), Khaled Gomaa (lawyer), Hisham Murshi (agricultural engineer), Yasser Abdullah (Marketing Manager).

الأمن يعتدي على م. عمرو زكي ويختطف 7 من أنصاره
في مشهد يكشف عن مدي الهمجية والوحشية التي وصل إليها جهاز أمن الدولة بمنطقة حدائق القبة، قامت الأجهزة الأمنية ظهر اليوم بالإعتداء على المهندس عمرو زكي مرشح جماعة الإخوان المسلمين على مقعد"الفئات" بدائرة حدائق القبة، أثناء مسيرة سلمية للمرشح بشارع ترعة القبة.
حيث فوجيء المرشح أثناء سيره وسط ترحاب وحفاوة بالغتين من أهالي المنطقة بضابط من أمن الدولة في عربة بوكس يقول له ممنوع السير في الشارع، ولم تمر دقائق أثناء سير المسيرة ، الإ وحدث هجوم أمني من أكثر من 5 عربات أمن مركزي، حيث جاءت السيارات الأمنية من جميع الإتجاهات في محاولة لإحكام السيطرة على المرشح وأنصاره، كما قامت بسحلهم في الشارع دون أن يرتكبوا جريمة يحاسبوا عليها.
كما اختطفت 7 من أنصاره بعد الإعتداء عليهم بالضرب والسحل وسط الشارع وأمام الأهالي. والمختطفون هم : أحمد يوسف(محامي)، محمد عزب(محامي)، أيمن رمضان(محامي)، خالد جمعه(محامي)، هشام مرشي(مهندس زراعي)، ياسر عبد الله(مدير تسويق).

Electoral Mrarh of Ghaneyyah attacked, dozens arrested in Qalyubiya
Security forces in Qalyubiya attacked a march of Dr. Huda Ghaneyyah (MB candidate for quota seat in Qalyubiya), three central security vehicles, two armored vehicles, three police vehicles, more than forty thugs, accompanying Security State Chief and some major-generals of Qalyubiya security directorate while returning from Kafr-Shukr at the entrance of Shebeen El-Qanater, attacked the march, assaulted the participants and caused seriuos injuries in them.
Security forces arrested dozens of supporters, including Dr. Ghaneyyah's husband, Dr. Hisham Zaki Khafagy deputy officer of the Administrative Office of the Brotherhood Qaliubiya, Dr. Imad Taha, Dr. Rifaat Al-Amer and Dr. Mohamed Ramadan, Ibrahim Sami, Al Walid Abdul Sattar, Hani Abdel Muti, Gamal Rajab, Ahmed Abdel-Alim and others.
Among the injured: Mohamed El-Nady (internal bleeding in the eye), and Abdul Halim Abdul Hamid (fracture in the rib cage), the two are detained inside a police vehicles, till now.

الاعتداء على مسيرة لـ"غنية" واعتقال العشرات!
اعتدت الأجهزة الأمنية بالقليوبية على مسيرة سيارات للدكتورة هدى غنية مرشحة الإخوان المسلمين على معقد المرأة "فئات" بالقليوبية؛ حيث اعترضت 3 سيارات أمن مركزي وسيارتان مصفحتان ومجموعة من سيارات الشرطة (بوكسات) مدعومة بعددٍ كبيرٍ من البلطجية (أكثر من 40 بلطجيًّا) ورئيس مباحث أمن الدولة وعدد من اللواءات؛ طريقَ مسيرة سيارات خرجت لدعم الدكتورة غنية أثناء عودتها من مدينة كفر شكر عند مدخل شبين القناطر، وأوقفتها واعتدت على مَن فيها بالضرب وأحدثوا فيهم إصاباتٍ بالغة.
واعتقلت قوات الأمن العشرات من أنصارها من بينهم زوجها الدكتور هشام زكي خفاجي نائب مسئول المكتب الإداري لإخوان القليوبية والدكتور عماد طه، والدكتور رفعت عامر والدكتور محمد رمضان وابراهيم سامي والمهندس وليد عبد الستار وهاني عبد المعطي وجمال رجب وأحمد عبد العليم وآخرين.

Electoral March stopped and two abducted in Assiut
Police forces in Assiut stopped the electorla march of Mr. Sameer Khashaba, (MB candidate for parliamentary elections in Assiut constituency), in El-Arba'een Neighbourhood, western Assiut, on wednesday evening, assaulted the participants and abducted two of them.

أسيوط.. اختطاف 2 وتفريق مسيرة انتخابية بالقوة
اعترضت الأجهزة الأمنية بمحافظة أسيوط المسيرة الانتخابية لمرشح الإخوان في دائرة بندر أسيوط سمير خشبة، بحي الأربعين غرب أسيوط مساء أمس، واعتدت على المشاركين فيها واختطفت 2 منهم.
وقام أحد الضباط بخطف مكبر الصوت من خشبة، وهدده مدير أمن أسيوط باعتقال كلِّ مَن في المسيرة في حال استمرارها.

Statements of torture and violations victims in Hadayekelqobba, Cairo
A press conference was held today in the electoral campain office of Mr. Amr Zaki, (MB candidate in Hadayekelqobba constituency, Cairo) to expose police practices against him and his supporters.
As eye witnesses of the incidents of torture, Mr. Ibrahim al-Sayed narrated what happened to him, on Wednesday, October 28th, an informer called Saber Kamal assaulted him as soon as he left the mosque after Isha prayers ca. 7:00 pm. He pointed out that within minutes a car (with officers and soldiers) from the police office came accompanying the security officer (Mohammad Radwan), and he was abducted to the police office.
He continues in a tone full of bitterness how he was treated in the Police and Security State Office, explaining that when he was taken into the police station he was questioned, as they brought him an envelope with papers full of fake elections bamphlets for the Muslim Brotherhood and they wanted to force him to confess that he had distributed them in the neighbourhood.
He said that they he was beaten, tortured in different ways (beaten, electricified and even threatened of sexual abuse), and stripped of his clothes, as well as kicking his knees, although he suffered due to having more than 13 operations in them indicating that he still has difficulties in walking till now after that painful experience.
Mr. ElSayed said that he was kept in custody (detained and tortured) for seven days, three of them after the prosecution released him without charges for lack of evidence but police and state security detained him breaking the law for three days.
Wael Atta Ibrahim, who faced a series of security breaches like the threats of indecent assault, and bargaining for the release of information concerning the candidate's house and work.
As he said, he was imprisoned in solitary confinement in order to exert more stress on him, besides using electricity to torture him and obtain information from him.
Islam Kamal narrated what happened to him in the Police Office in Hadayekelqobba after he was kidnapped from the street, from verbal abuse and insults and beating as well as the denial of his existence, when his family came to the police station to check on him.
That is considered a case of enforced disappearance as the police and state security kept (and tortured) him in custody for four days after the prosecution's order of his release and denied his existence in the police office.
Islam also narrated the story of Ahmed Salah (arrested with Islam but they were separated) who was severely beaten, tortured and electrified for six days that he is still sick and couldn't attend the conference today.
Mr. Amr talked about another young supporter, Mahmoud Azmy, who was kidnapped immediately after Eid prayers, taken to the police station, beaten, torured, stripped of clothes, insulted, and forced to show police officer (Mohamed Radwan) houses of supporters of Mr. Amr Zaki in Hadayekelqobba, and was in a poor psychological state and couldn't attend the conference.
Mr. Amr talked about the police officers breaking the law and violating rights of his supporters, Mohamed Radwan from Hadayekelqobba police station, officers Mohamed Ahmed, Sherif El-Shahed, Mohamed Sameer, and Khaled Saad from Hadayekelqobba State Security Office.
Mr. Amr said that 10 of his supporters were kidnapped, detained and tortured the past three weeks just due to their participation and activities in the electoral campaign, he said that rights of these supporters will be sought using all legal ways and no effort will be spared to obtain their rights.

Mr. ElSayed said that he was kept in custody (detained and tortured) for seven days, three of them after the prosecution released him without charges for lack of evidence but police and state security detained him breaking the law for three days.
Wael Atta Ibrahim, who faced a series of security breaches like the threats of indecent assault, and bargaining for the release of information concerning the candidate's house and work.
As he said, he was imprisoned in solitary confinement in order to exert more stress on him, besides using electricity to torture him and obtain information from him.
Islam Kamal narrated what happened to him in the Police Office in Hadayekelqobba after he was kidnapped from the street, from verbal abuse and insults and beating as well as the denial of his existence, when his family came to the police station to check on him.
That is considered a case of enforced disappearance as the police and state security kept (and tortured) him in custody for four days after the prosecution's order of his release and denied his existence in the police office.
Islam also narrated the story of Ahmed Salah (arrested with Islam but they were separated) who was severely beaten, tortured and electrified for six days that he is still sick and couldn't attend the conference today.
Mr. Amr talked about another young supporter, Mahmoud Azmy, who was kidnapped immediately after Eid prayers, taken to the police station, beaten, torured, stripped of clothes, insulted, and forced to show police officer (Mohamed Radwan) houses of supporters of Mr. Amr Zaki in Hadayekelqobba, and was in a poor psychological state and couldn't attend the conference.
Mr. Amr talked about the police officers breaking the law and violating rights of his supporters, Mohamed Radwan from Hadayekelqobba police station, officers Mohamed Ahmed, Sherif El-Shahed, Mohamed Sameer, and Khaled Saad from Hadayekelqobba State Security Office.
Mr. Amr said that 10 of his supporters were kidnapped, detained and tortured the past three weeks just due to their participation and activities in the electoral campaign, he said that rights of these supporters will be sought using all legal ways and no effort will be spared to obtain their rights.

ولم يكن وائل عطا بأحسن حالاً من إبراهيم حيث واجه جملة من الإنتهاكات الأمنية تمثلت في تهديدات بهتك العرض ومساومات لإفشاء بمعلومات تخص المرشح كسؤاله عن بيته وعن عمله.
كما تابع في روايته أنه سجن في حبس إنفرادي من أجل ممارسة مزيد من الضغط النفسي تجاهه، بجانب تعريضة لألة الكهربة، متحدثاً بمرارة عن معاملة الأمن معه، خاصةً وأنه لم يرتكب أي ذنب يقتضي محاسبته بهذا الأسلوب غير الأدمي.

وتحدث إسلام أيضاً عن أحمد صلاح ، (تم اختطافهما معاً لكن فصلا أثناء الضرب والتعذيب) ، والذي تم ضربه وتعذيبه وصعقه بالكهرباء لمدة ستة أيام حتى أنه لا يزال ملازماً الفراش ولم يستطع حضور المؤتمر.
وتحدث السيد عمرو زكي عن محمود عزمي ، أحد المناصرين الشباب له والذي تم اختطافه من مصلى العيد وضربه وتعذيبه بعد تجريده من ملابسه ثم إجباره على إعطاء معلومات عن بيوت أنصار السيد عمرو في حدائق القبة.

In Beni Suef alone, 53 supporters were abducted by security forces and 31 MB members were arrested in Monoufeya.
In Fayoum, a high school student was among the 7 detained MB members in the governorate.

Security Forces arrest 15 candidates' supporters during Eid prayers including 4 women in Kafr el-Sheikh and Suez
The first day of the Muslims feast has not deterred security forces from continuing their arbitrary arrests. 11 supporters of MB candidate Abdallah Mesbah were arrested after the Eid prayers in the governorate of Kafr el Sheik.

Police forces assault children's march
Security forces in Egypt assaulted a children's march in Cairo's Khanka district arresting 9 members of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Security also impeded an electoral campaign belonging to MB candidate Gamal Shehata in Shubra assaulting and attacking supporters accompanying him.

Despite repeated calls and appeals by international and domestic human rights organizations to end the arbitrary arrests of Egypt's political opposition, security forces have once again embarked on their unjustified arrests in the governorate of Gharbiya at dawn, and Beni Suef and Daqahliya is witnessing the arrests of MB supporters.

Eliminations and Changing Sectors during Initial Parliamentary Candidates' Listing Indicate Rigging
The initial list of candidates' names to field in the parliamentary elections has been released in most Egyptian governorates this evening.
An early reading reveals that many Muslim Brotherhood nominees have been eliminated from the list of numerous governorates.
Dr Mohamed Saad Ketatni, chairman of the MB parliamentary bloc was included in the list for the Minya governorate. Other MBs on the list for Minya include: Bahaa Attia a current member of the parliamentary bloc, Mohamed Abdel-Azim, and Abdul Rahim Abdul Salam.
Alexandria's MBs, however, have not been announced and the group has in fact been the victim of rising tensions especially with the elimination of Brotherhood members who had intended to field in the workers' sectors. Deputy head of the parliamentary bloc, Hussein Ibrahim, was crossed off the list earlier along with 3 other MB nominees.
The Beheira governorate has had names announced, however, sectors have been changed and the MB Legal Committee has filed a lawsuit to the Administrative Court against the measure.
In Port Said the list included Dr Akram Al-Shaer and Dr Ahmed Al-Khalawany for the parliamentary elections and in Luxor, the Muslim Brotherhood candidates included Mustafa Abu Shareefa.
In Qena, Muhammad Abdul Nabi, and Hesham El-Qadi were also added to the list. Four names were excluded from the nominee list in Fayoum.

Clerics Fired for not Promoting NDP Candidates During Sermons
The Egyptian ruling party's means of campaign propaganda advocacy and attack appears not to have changed from former elections.
The NDP's advertising campaign is among the artifacts that survived the electoral contest as it relies on much negative and unfair campaigning, smear campaigns and slandering as elections draw near. This is evident in the recent case of the ruling party's appointed minister of endowment, Hamdy Zaqzouq, who decided to curtail the license of two clerics and replace them for refusing to promote the achievements of NDP candidates during their sermons in the mosque or after prayers.
The clerics, who have been indefinitely banned from their mosques, maintained that the NDP's candidate supporters had frequently visited the mosques to promote their nominees' platforms stressing that they were taking advantage of the premises. They highlighted that 3 weeks earlier the minister had in fact ordered them not to allow any campaigning in the mosques stressing that mosques are places of worship, hence, contradicting his own orders.

MB in Sharqiya Condemn the Arrest of Twenty MB Supporters
Twenty MB supporters have been abducted during the past few days from various constituencies in the Sharqiya governorate. The prosecution charged them with making religious and early promotion for their candidates while allowing other candidates to do religious, non-religious and early promotions for candidates of the ruling party (NDP).
Most of them faced the prosecution and were released on bail of 1000 to 2000 L.E; however, the defence team decided not to pay the bail money.
Dr Ameer Bassam, MB media spokesman in Sharqiya, stressed that the abduction of MB supporters, which included young and old people, and violated the legal rights every candidate enjoys of having their supporters promote their election campaign, will not hamper their constitutional struggle to grant people the right to choose who should rule and represent them.
He added: “We call on the regime to act wisely with all candidates with no discrimination regardless of their intellectual, ideological or partisan affiliation. We announced earlier that the abduction of MB supporters is a violation of the law by security forces and we will bring them to justice and the authority they enjoy will not help them”.
Dr Bassam sent a message to MB supporters urging them to not lose heart, nor fall into despair and to continue having faith.

16 supporters of MP Khalafallah abducted in Ismailia
State Security Investigation Police kidnapped at dawn today, 16 supporters of MP Sabri Khalaf Allah member of the parliamentary bloc of Muslim Brotherhood, the People's Assembly, and Deputy First Constituency in Ismailia, and the candidate of the group's seat "categories", while putting-up banners calling for reform.
On the other hand, still under investigation since yesterday, in the court of the Ismaili Muslim Brotherhood candidate, Mr.Ibrahim Suleiman, who was abducted by security forces hours after MB announced his name as a candidate in Ismailia, for the Third Constituency in Ismailia.

5 supporters of the MB candidate in Kerdasa abducted
A force from the State Security Investigations Police raided at dawn today houses of 5 supporters of Mr. Abdul Salam Bashandi, Muslim Brotherhood candidate in the (Kerdasa and October) constituency, and arrested them.

Security continues to terrorize supporters of MB candidates in Heliopolis and Nasr City
Security forces continued their intimidation to the supporters of candidates of the Muslim Brotherhood in (Nasr City and Heliopolis) constituency, MP Essam Mokhtar member of the parliamentary bloc of Muslim Brotherhood, People's Assembly, and Dr. Manal Abu Hassan.
Security forces broke into the home of Hafez El-Sayyar, a supporter of MP Essam Mokhtar yesterday evening, and took him to the Police Office of Nasr City, where he was detained for 12 consecutive hours, and was presented to the prosecution, which released him; due to the lack of charges against him, except that the Nasr City police is still detaining him so far without giving any justification.
Abdullah Ismail was arrested from his workplace and was released after two hours, and threatened not to support MP Essam Mokhtar any more, police forces kidnapped a district resident, his place is not revealed till now.
For his part, Gamal Fayez attorney of the detainees said: that the prosecution have not found any charges to the detainees, describing what the security forces do to the people of the area as terrorism and intimidation, to collect any information about the movements and plans of candidates.

الأمن يواصل إرهابه لأنصار مرشحَي الإخوان بمدينة نصر ومصر الجديدة
واصلت الأجهزة الأمنية إرهابها لأنصار مرشحَي الإخوان النائب عصام مختار عضو الكتلة البرلمانية للإخوان المسلمين بمجلس الشعب والدكتورة منال أبو الحسن بدائرة (مدينة نصر ومصر الجديدة)؛ حيث دهمت قوات الأمن منزل حافظ السيار أحد أنصار عصام مختار في ساعة متأخرة من مساء أمس، واقتادته إلى قسم أول مدينة نصر، وتمَّ احتجازه بالقسم لمدة 12 ساعة متصلة، وتمَّ عرضه على النيابة التي أخلت سبيله؛ لعدم وجود تهم منسوبة إليه، إلا أن قسم أول مدينة نصر ما زال يحتجزه حتى الآن دون إبداء أي مبرر.
أمَّا عبد الله إسماعيل فتمَّ اعتقاله من محل عمله وأُخلي سبيله بعد ساعتين، وهدده الأمن بعدم مساندة النائب عصام مختار مرة أخرى، كما قام الأمن باختطاف أحد أهالي عزبة الهجانة وإلى الآن لم يُستدل على مكانه!.
من جانبه، قال جمال فايز محامي المعتقلين: إن النيابة لم توجِّه لهم إلى الآن أية تهم سوى انتمائهم للتيار الإسلامي، واصفًا ما يقوم به الأمن من إرهاب أهالي المنطقة وترويعهم، لجمع أية معلومات عن تحركات وخطط المرشحين.

A supporter of MP Khalafallah abducted in Ismailia
Police forces in Ismailia abducted on Tuesday evening, Mr. Yasser Al-Husaini (a teacher), a supporter of MP Sabry Khalafallah, a member of the parliamentary bloc of Muslim Brotherhood, the People's Assembly, and MB candidate for parliament in Ismailia.

اختطاف أحد أنصار خلف الله بالإسماعيلية
اختطفت الأجهزة الأمنية بمحافظة الإسماعيلية مساء اليوم ياسر الحسيني "مدرس" وأحد أنصار المهندس صبري خلف الله عضو الكتلة البرلمانية للإخوان المسلمين بمجلس الشعب ونائب الدائرة الأولى بالإسماعيلية ومرشح الجماعة على مقعد "الفئات".
وفوجئ الحسيني بقوةٍ من مباحث أمن الدولة تحيط به وتختطفه أثناء سيره في شارع المستشفى بمدينة الإسماعيلية، واقتادته إلى مكان مقر مباحث أمن الدولة.

Abduction of the son and a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood candidate in Aswan
A force from State Security Police led by officers Mohamed El-Amry and Taha Abu-Sahly, and Aswan Police Chief Al-Amir Kamel abducted on Monday evening, Abdul-Rahman Farouk Bahr, the son of the MB candidate for Aswan constituency, and Mahmoud Mosaad, one of his supporters from the street.
The two were with the candidate in a visit to his supporters in El-Naserya, they were taken to the state security office, and the candidate was summoned to take his son.

استمرارًا لمسلسل التضييق الأمني على مرشحي الإخوان، اختطفت قوة من مباحث أمن الدولة بمحافظة أسوان بقيادة ضابطي أمن الدولة محمد العمري وطه أبو سحلي ورئيس مباحث أسوان الأمير كامل، مساء اليوم، عبد الرحمن فاروق بحر، نجل مرشح الإخوان بالدائرة الأولى بالمحافظة، ومحمود مسعد، أحد أنصاره من الشارع.
كان الاثنان برفقة المرشح في زيارة تعارف لمحبيه وأنصاره في منطقة الناصرية وتمَّ اقتيادهما إلى مقر جهاز أمن الدولة بأسوان، واستدعاء المرشح بدعوى استلام نجله!.

Live ammunition used against MB candidates supporters in Alex, three supporters abducted
A police force attacked on Monday evening , a group of supporters of MP, Mahmoud Attia, in Karmooz, Alex, while they were putting-up posters of the MP achievements for the last five years.
Security forces fired in the air, in an attempt to intimidate supporters of MP, as dozens of detectives and the central security soldiers assaulted the supporters of MP, three supporters were abducted, Ahmed Omar, Ayman Awad, and Ammar Ashour.
Another supporter, Mohamed El-Sharkawi, was transferred to the hospital, after suffering multiple injuries, bruises and abrasions; as a result of assault of the security forces with sticks and batons in the street.

إطلاق الرصاص على أنصار نائب كرموز وخطف 3
هاجمت قوة أمنية بمحافظة الإسكندرية، مساء اليوم، مجموعةً من أنصار النائب محمود عطية، عضو الكتلة البرلمانية للإخوان المسلمين بمجلس الشعب ونائب دائرة كرموز بالإسكندرية، أثناء قيامهم بتعليق ملصقات خاصة بإنجازات النائب خلال السنوات الخمس الأخيرة.
وقامت أجهزة الأمن بإطلاق الرصاص في الهواء على أنصار النائب؛ في محاولةٍ لإرهابهم، كما قام عشرات المخبرين وعساكر الأمن المركزي بالتعدي على أنصار النائب بالضرب، وتمَّ القبض على 3، هم: أحمد عمر، وأيمن عوض، وعمار عاشور.
فيما تمَّ نقل آخر، وهو محمد الشرقاوي، إلى المستشفى، بعد إصابته بعدة جروح وكدمات وسحجات؛ نتيجة تعدي الأمن عليه بالعصيِّ والهراوات في قارعة الطريق.

Abduction of the son of the Muslim Brotherhood candidate in El-Saf
In a scene that reflects a new development of the war against the Muslim Brotherhood candidates, security forces arrested Amr son of Mr.Gomaa al-Badry at three in the morning, and detained him in a police station without any charges, police denied his arrest till eleven in the morning.
A member of the legal committee of the candidate said that the arrest of the son of Mr.Badri, 17 years, comes as an attempt to pressure the Muslim Brotherhood candidate, especially as the party's candidates have realized the futility of the exercise of pressure on the candidates and decided whether to extend the war to their children and families.
He added that the police station holding Amr al-Badri and his colleague, Yasser Sayed, after he was kidnapped while walking in the street at dawn in a room called "The Refrigerator" in the police station, they were deprived the right to visit the detainees or even to know the legal reason for detention.

وقال أعضاء اللجنة القانونية للمرشح: إن اعتقال نجل م. البدري، والبالغ من العمر 17 عامًا، يأتي كمحاولةِ ضغطٍ فاشلة على مرشح الإخوان، خاصةً أن مرشحي الحزب أدركوا مدى عدم جدوى ممارسة الضغوط على المرشحين ليقرروا أن تمتد الحرب لأبنائهم وذويهم.
وأضاف أن مركز شرطة الصف يحتجز عمرو البدري وزميله ياسر سيد، بعد أن تم اختطافهما أثناء سيرهما بالشارع فجرًا بغرفة تُسمَّى "الثلاجة" داخل القسم، وتم منع الزيارة عنهما أو مجرد معرفة السبب القانوني للاحتجاز.

Arrests and harrassments campaign launched by the security services against MPs and candidates of the Muslim Brotherhood in the coming parliamentary elections continues; security services abducted 3 of Brotherhood supporters in the constituencies of the Menouf and El-Edwa in Menoufia and Minia governoates.

استمرارًا لحملة التضييقات والاعتقالات التي تشنُّها الأجهزة الأمنية ضد نواب ومرشحي الإخوان المسلمين، بسبب انتخابات مجلس الشعب؛ اختطفت أجهزة الأمن 3 من أنصار نائبي الإخوان في دائرتي منوف والعدوة بمحافظتي المنوفية والمنيا.

Abduction of 2 supporters of MP Dr.Hamdi Ismail in Ismailia
Security services, Ismailia Governorate, yesterday evening, abducted 2 of the supporters of MP Dr. Hamdi Ismail, a member of the parliamentary bloc of the Muslim Brotherhood ,they were handed over to the police station, El-Tall El-Kabir which charged them with attempting to distribute pamphlets with the slogan "We Love Egypt," that have the MP achievements.

اختطاف 2 من أنصار النائب د. حمدي إسماعيل
اختطفت الأجهزة الأمنية بمحافظة الإسماعيلية، مساء أمس، 2 من أنصار النائب الدكتور حمدي إسماعيل عضو الكتلة البرلمانية للإخوان المسلمين ونائب الدائرة الثانية، وتم تسليمهما إلى مركز شرطة التل الكبير الذي وجَّه إليهما تهمة محاولة توزيع مطبوعات ورقية تحمل شعار "بنحبك يا مصر"، تحتوي على إنجازات النائب.
والمختطفان هما: صبحي السيد عيسى (مدرس)، والسيد محمود جودة (ليسانس آداب).
